The iconic US M2 WW2 paratrooper helmet. With its half-moon fixed chinstraps, it was the early headgear of the US paratrooper during World War II. It was quickly replaced by traditional M1 models and then by its successor, the M1C.

Shell

Austrian-made M1 infantry steel helmet shell, originally produced between 1975 and 1990 in the style of the US WWII M2 paratrooper helmet. Features a rear-seam and fixed loops. Fitted with reproduction OD#3 paratrooper chinstraps. Repainted in Olive Drab 7, the shade used by the U.S. Army from 1936 to 1944. The shell has a textured finish, achieved by adding cork to the paint.

Replica Liner

Recent plastic reproduction of the M1 type helmet liner. Similar to the US M1 model with a headband, front loop, and brown faux leather chinstrap. Modified with the addition of A Yokes to secure the leather chin cup.

Fiber Liner

Compressed fiber M1-style surplus helmet liner from Belgian origin (ABL). With headband, brown leather chinstrap, and neck band. Also features the typical front eyelet of American helmet liners. Modified with the addition of A Yokes to hold the leather chinstrap in place.

Keep in mind

All of our helmet shells are made of steel and are surplus military equipment. Some are over 50 years old. They may show signs of use and aging due to storage. Although they are repainted and refurbished, some evidence of their past use remains visible.

The helmet liner is one size fits all, but it is adjustable in depth and head circumference.
