All our helmet shells are made of steel and come from military surplus. Some of them are over 50 years old. They may show traces of use and age due to storage. Although they are repainted and refurbished, some evidence of their past use remains visible.

Cut

The under helmet is one size, it is nevertheless adjustable in depth as well as in any head.

Shell

Steel helmet shell of Austrian origin, with a rear seam and mobile chinstrap attachment brackets repainted in matte Olive Drab (OD). A pair of original type Vietnam paratrooper OD#7 chinstraps equip the heavy helmet. All metal parts are marked with the "P" of the "PARISH DIVISION OF THE DANA CORPORATION".

Fiber Liner

The original US "LINER, SOLDIERS STEEL HELMET, "COMBAT" TYPE 1" relined in a paratrooper version is in fiber with its original elements ("internal suspension, "head band"). The neck guard has been replaced with a new post-Vietnam US model dated 1985. It has its original fabric chinstrap marked "US
